29. Foley Sound (Task Two)

We created these foley sounds with the equipment that we had around us. We would like to apologise for some of the background chatter as we recorded most of these clips when the other groups in the class were doing the same thing as us.

We have ideas to use the stomping and key sounds in particular for our drama piece. They fit well with our rough idea  of a married man returning home to ruins. The key sound effect can be used for when he drops his keys on the table and the stomping can  be used as he travels through the house and witnesses the wreckage.

Making Sounds

Stomping - I (Leo) went outside of the room and stomped as heavily and rhythmically as I could. I stomped heavily so that the recorder could pick up my sound. This sound could be used as the husband walks into  his home

Wiping - Rochelle scraped keys across the table t make the wiping noise.

Typing - we got the the typing sound from typing on the keyboard and recording it

Keys drop - we used Marie's keys to get the sound. We can use this as the husband drops his keys on the table upon reaching home.
