Blogging health check 1 (22)
" You are more or less up to date which is encouraging, particularly given that you've missed some parts of lessons.
What I need you to focus on now is getting this work up to the kind of standard I need to see if you want anything higher than a C grade. Targets for improvement:
1. You must have something 'visual' in each post (see the front page of the blogging checklist for this). You should be thinking about using prezi, emaze, padlet, thinglink or similar to show your work - you can then embed these applications into a blog post.
2. Go back over all your posts that don't have anything other than text or one image in the. You need to make sure that you have embedded gif files of images from films, sequences from films or jpegs from films. At the moment almost all of yours are entirely text based.
3. Organise to spend a minimum of 4 hours per week on your blogging work. Any less and you aren't putting in enough effort. For a B grade (15+) we expect a huge amount of analysis and detail - at the moment your posts, although complete, are too brief.
Come to lunchtime workshop for further guidance - every lunchtime in room 323. It's pretty easy to get this grade up but it will require a concerted effort from you. "
